They are as big a reason for the Miami Heat advancing to the NBA Finals as Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Goran Dragic. To the surprise of many, Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson have done more than expected to help the Heat in their quest for a fourth Larry O'Brien trophy.

In just his rookie season, Herro has proven to be fearless of any opponent, whether attacking the hoop or launching a shot from downtown, regardless of whether he plays with the starting unit or enters the game as the Heat's first man off the bench.

For second-year swingman Robinson, who went undrafted after his senior season in Michigan, his quick release and deadeye shooting from downtown have been a huge contributing factor to the Heat's ability to spread the floor offensively bring defenders away from the hoop.

Tied for third in regular-season three-pointers and fourth in percentage from beyond the arc, Robinson, in just his second season, is also third in three-pointers made and attempted during the NBA playoffs.

His backcourt partner in crime, Herro, is the youngest player to ever suit up in the NBA Finals and is only one year removed from his freshman season at Kentucky.

Although they have a long way to go before their respective careers can be compared to Steph Curry and Klay Thompson - there are still a few interesting stats for comparison between these players.

Curry’s three-point shooting percentage in his second season was 44%, same as Robinson, and Thompson’s 41% was only slightly higher than Herro’s 39%.

With both players ready to launch a shot without fear from anywhere on the court, the comparisons to the Splash Brothers may be a bit of a stretch.

Still, with the ability to catch fire from downtown and change the game's course with a few flicks of the wrist, Herro and Robinson may soon be deserving of their own nickname.
