Brady and Belichick: The story of the infamous duo

Twenty years ago, a quarterback by the name of Tom Brady was selected in the 6th round of the NFL draft by the New England Patriots. At the time, scouts did not think too highly of Brady’s talent, but he would quickly put the critics on notice.

One year later, Tom Brady made his Patriots debut under head coach, Bill Belichick.

It did not take too long for Brady to get the hang of the whole “NFL superstar” thing as he and Belichick went on to win their first of six Super Bowls together in Brady’s first season as a starter.

With all the success that surrounded Brady and Belichick, the question remained: “Who was more impactful to the dynasty the Patriots created? Was it 3-time MVP Tom Brady or 3-time Coach of the Year Bill Belichick?

Tom Brady’s reign with the Patriots is now over as he’s signed a two year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Now being on separate teams for the first time in twenty years, the two will be able to develop success without the help of one another.

This debate will be discussed for decades to come, but at the end of the day, the Patriots accumulated the success that they did because of the hard work and dedication both men brought to the field every day.
